Colours of Green Street
Led by Newham Council’s Place Making team, the Colours of Newham and Brighter Alleyways programmes are transforming high streets and public spaces across the borough, in line with the Newham High Streets Strategy.
From large-scale murals in Forest Gate – including the Jimi Hendrix mural Forest Gate – to community-led designs in Manor Park and improvements along Green Street, these projects celebrate local heritage and reflect Newham’s diversity.
