Reporting problems on our roads

If you find a problem on your street, or another road within the borough, you can report it to us, so that we can take action and keep Newham moving.

Road problems you can report to us:

  • Potholes
  • Damaged gully or drain covers
  • Damaged utility cover (gas or water cover plate for example)
  • Damage to a kerb
  • A problem with road markings
  • Issues with street lighting.

Before you report

Check whether the problem is on a red route such as the A13 or A406. You should report any problems with a red route directly to Transport for London.
