The old Canning Town Library closed on 2 September 2017.

It has reopened as part of the new Custom House and Canning Town Community Neighbourhood Centre and Library. ​

​​Chess Club  ​Wednesday 5.30 - 6.30pm ​Learn to play chess at your weekly club or you can play a game with friends. Age 7+
Games Club​ Thursdays, 5 - 6pm
For children aged 5 to 12 years old.
​Homework club ​Friday, 3.30 - 5.30pm ​Free study support at our libraries during school term time for children aged 5 to 12 years old.
Healthier and happier babies and toddlers​ First Wednesday of the month, 1 - 2.15pm​ Parents and carers and young children session. Hosted by health visitor offering advice about looking after babies and toddlers.​
​Lego club Monday, 5 - 6pm​ ​For children aged 5 - 12 years old
​​Storytelling ​​Tuesday, 9.45 - 10.30am and 10.45 - 11.30am ​Story and rhyme time session for children up to five years old.
Teen Reading Group First Tuesday of every month 5 - 6pm Join in the discussion about your latest favourite read. Age 13 - 17 Years.
