Be Connected – Support for Chronic Loneliness

Struggling with loneliness? You’re not alone.

If you’re finding it hard to leave the house, reconnect with others, or rediscover a sense of purpose, our Be Connected Team is here to help.

One-to-One Support to Help You Reconnect

We offer up to six weeks of personalised, one-to-one support for residents who are not eligible for Care Act services but are experiencing chronic loneliness.

Our Be Connected Officers work with you to build confidence, explore interests, and take small steps toward meaningful connection. Together, we’ll create a tailored action plan to help you:

  • Reconnect with your community.
  • Rediscover hobbies and passions.
  • Build routines that support your wellbeing.
  • Find meaning and purpose in everyday life.
