Where to find a web code

A web code is used for making Formal Representations to dispute a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).

Find the web code in the Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) or letter under the section marked, 'making a representation'. For: 

  • Parking PCNs issued by a Civil Enforcement Officer, the letter is titled 'Notice to Owner'
  • Parking PCNs issued by a CCTV camera, the letter will be titled 'Penalty Charge Notice'
  • Bus Lane PCNs, the letter titled 'Enforcement Notice'
  • Moving Traffic PCNs, the letter titled 'Penalty Charge Notice'


If you have not received one of these letters/notices, you need to either pay the PCN or submit an Informal Challenge, which does not require a web code.
