Industrial Parking Zones (IPZ)
An Industrial Parking Zone (IPZ) is an area where parking is controlled to make it easier for businesses and their employees to access parking spaces near their place of work.

Parking restrictions in the Canning Town IPZ apply between 8am to 6.30pm on Monday to Saturday.

How to park in an Industrial Parking Zone
If you work at an address inside the IPZ, you can apply for either a:
- Business parking permit These are valid in IPZs and Residential Parking Zones. The vehicle must not exceed 2.3m in height and/or 5.3m in length
- Industrial parking permit (only valid in IPZ, no vehicle size restrictions)
As a permit holder, you can park:
- in permit holder only bays
- in shared use bays (permit holders and paid for parking)
Visiting an address inside the IPZ
You can park for up to 4 hours in a shared use bay if you pay for parking.
Delivering or collecting goods from a premises inside the IPZ
- Loading/unloading is permitted for up to 20 minutes in all parking bays.
- Waiting restrictions apply in Cody Road, North Crescent and South Crescent.
Any vehicle breaching a parking or driving rule or parked without a valid permit, may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and possibly be towed.
