Warm Homes Programme

Newham Council is investing in warmer, healthier and more energy efficient homes for our residents. Through the Warm Homes Programme, we are upgrading 359 council homes across our borough, focusing on properties that are most affected by damp and mould, and have low energy performance ratings.

These improvements will help residents feel more comfortable at home, reduce energy bills, and create healthier living spaces, especially during colder months and heatwaves.

The Warm Homes programme is part of a national government-funded scheme to improve the energy efficiency of our social housing. Newham is delivering this programme in partnership with 27 other London Councils and Housing Associations, working together with Warmer Homes London to make real, practical improvements where they’re needed most.
