How will homes be selected?
We choose homes for the Warm Homes Programme by looking at where improvements will make the biggest difference.
We prioritise:
- Homes with lower energy ratings, especially those rated EPC D and below
- Homes where there are problems like damp or mould
We focus on council homes first and look for clusters of homes in the same area so we can work efficiently and make the best use of public funding. We also include a mix of different building types so we can learn what works best across the borough.
This is the start of a longer journey. As we learn more, we will keep improving how we plan and deliver the programme.
