PCN on a recently bought or sold vehicle

If a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) has been issued on your vehicle either:
a) before it was bought
or
b) after it was sold

You must:
Submit an Informal Challenge or Formal Representation.

You will need to provide:

  • V5C (log book) or green new keeper slip
  • invoice of sale with date shown clearly
  • name and address of new/past owner
