After the survey and how to check your EPC
Once your EPC is completed, the Council will receive your EPC certificate. Your home may be added to future improvement plans, and homes with lower ratings (D or below) will be prioritised for future improvement plans. Taking part helps us improve your home and may lead to future upgrades.
You can check if your home has an EPC at any time using the government website. You can search using your address and postcode. The register will show your current EPC rating, the full certificate, recommended improvements, and the expiry date. If your home does not appear on the register, it may mean that your EPC is still being processed, or your home has never had an EPC.
