What is a timed road closure?
A timed road closure is when a road or a section of the road is temporarily closed to general traffic at designated times. For Healthy School Streets, the timed road closures are during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-ups to encourage more parents, carers and children to make their journey on foot, by bike or scooter, or via public transport.
