How will the scheme be enforced?

New Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) will be installed to enforce the restrictions on non-registered vehicles. Non-registered vehicles that enter the pedestrian and cycle only zone during operational times will be automatically issued with a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).
