Yellow lines

Yellow lines show where parking is not allowed.

Information on when you can park is put on signs on or near parking spaces.

Dropped footways

There are two types of dropped footways:
  • pedestrian -  to make it easier for pedestrians to cross a road or street
  • vehicle crossover - to allow access to an off-street parking space such as a drive or garage.
You cannot park in front of a dropped footway. You may be issued with a Penalty charge notice.
