Renew a parking permit
Annual permits
You can renew your parking permit up to four weeks in advance.
A reminder is sent four weeks before the permit expires, to the email address registered to your MiPermit account.
How to renew a permit:
- Log in to your MiPermit Newham account.
- Go to 'Manage MiPermit Newham' to see a list of your current permits.
- Click on the permit you wish to renew, and an option will appear to renew.
- Complete the form. Make sure to select the start date when you want the new permit to begin.
Monthly permits (auto renew)
You can buy monthly Resident, Business, Charity Business and Industrial permits, with the option to auto-renew.
How to set up auto-renew:
- Log in to MiPermit Newham.
- Go to 'Buy digital permits' and select the type of permit you wish to apply for.
- When purchasing a monthly permit, tick the box on the application for auto renewal.
- Each renewal payment will be taken 7 days before the permit expiry date and you will be notified by email each time this happens.
You can cancel the auto renewal in your account by clicking ‘Manage MiPermit Newham’.
The monthly permit will auto-renew up to a maximum of 12 months. After this time, you will have to submit a new permit application.
Other permits
Courtesy Vehicle, Trade and Residential Carer permits have specific renewal time periods.
