Timed road access restrictions

Please note: Enforcement of Healthy School Streets schemes resumed in September 2020. The schemes aim to make it safer to walk and cycle to school, cross the road and with less traffic in the area and children will breathe cleaner air.

Apply for a Healthy School Street exemption

Lathom Junior School

The Healthy School Streets scheme for Lathom Junior School; a section of Lathom Road (between High Street North and Keppel Road) and a section of Keppel Road (between Lathom Road and Clements Road) have been made a pedestrian and cycle only zone at school drop-off and pick-up times between 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm, Monday to Friday during term time only.  

Residents with vehicles or motorcycles registered to an address within the zone, Blue Badge holders and emergency services will be able to drive in the above zone during these times

Healthy School Street plan - Lathom Junior School (PDF)

West Ham Church Primary School

The Healthy School Streets scheme for West Ham Church Primary School; St Lucia Drive has been made a pedestrian and cycle only zone at school drop-off and pick-up times between 8.30am-9.30am and 3pm-4pm, Monday to Friday during term time only.

Residents with vehicles or motorcycles registered to an address within the zone, Blue Badge holders and emergency services will be able to drive in the above zone during these times

Healthy School Street plan - West Ham Church Primary School (PDF)

Woodgrange Infa​nt School and Godwin Junior School

The Healthy School Streets scheme for Woodgrange Infa​nt School and Godwin Junior School; sections of Sebert Road, Cranmer Road and Godwin Road have been made a pedestrian and cycle only zone at school drop-off and pick-up times between 8.30am-9.30am and 3pm-4pm, Monday to Friday during term time only.

Residents with vehicles or motorcycles registered to an address within the zone, Blue Badge holders and emergency services will be able to drive in the above zone these times.

Healthy School Street plan - Woodgrange Infant School and Godwin Junior School (PDF)

Chobham Academy

The Healthy School Streets scheme for Chobham Academy; Cheering Lane has been made a pedestrian and cycle only zone at school drop-off and pick-up times. This is between 8am-9am and 2.30pm-4.30pm, Monday to Friday during term time only.

Residents with vehicles or motorcycles registered to an address within the zone, Blue Badge holders and emergency services will be able to drive in the above zone during these times
