February 2026: There is no Blanket Blue Badge exemption for Healthy School Streets. They now must be applied for and are reviewed on a case by case basis. For more information on eligibility, please visit our Exemptions and access permits page
January 2026: Blanket black taxi cab exemption added Healthy School Streets in Phase 1 to be inline with the new schemes in the borough.
October 2023: Due to budget constraints, the council stopped closing HSS signage outside of term times and future signage will no longer have the capacity to be folded.
