Apply now! Grants of £2,500 towards cargo bikes
Businesses can now apply for one of 24 grants of up to £2,500 towards the cost of a cargo bike, helping to cut transport costs and improve air quality in the borough.
The Zero Emissions Network (ZEN) operates the cargo bike grant project, an award-winning initiative that helps businesses save money, reduce emissions, and improve local air quality. It recently expanded to Newham after helping nearly 100 businesses including electricians, florists, and hairdressers, in adopting cargo bikes and e-bikes for their transportation needs.
Applications are open until 1 September.

Hair and beauty grants from the Beauty Backed Trust
The Beauty Backed Trust Grant Programme was created to help support individuals and businesses within the hair and beauty industry recover from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
It's currently running two grant programmes, one for start-ups and the other for existing businesses requiring support with setting up workspace, purchasing equipment and/or stock.
