What is ECO?

Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a scheme offering energy-saving improvements to eligible households. The purpose of this scheme is to help tackle fuel poverty and reduce carbon emissions. The scheme intends to achieve this by improving the energy efficiency of homes of residents deemed to be on a low income, fuel poor and vulnerable.
