Energy Advice London
Helping Londoners through the cost-of-living crisis with free advice on saving energy and water, reducing energy bills, accessing financial support, installing renewables and more.
All their support is impartial and delivered by the experts at Energy Saving Trust.

SHINE
An energy advice service for Londoners. They have a dedicated helpline to ensure households can maximize their energy efficiency and reduce their energy bills.
As well as basic energy advice, SHINE can help with:
- Accessing discounts
- Accessing energy grants
- Helping to manage energy debts
- Switching suppliers
SHINE accepts referrals for any household tenure and offers support to low-income residents. Additional support is available for residents who are also older, have young children at home, and/or who have long term illnesses and/or disabilities.
For self-referrals, call 0300 555 0195 to speak to an advisor, 9am and 5pm, Mon-Fri.
Simple Energy Advice
Simple Energy Advice provides information and advice on subjects including:
- Insulation
- Heating and hot water
- Electricity use, green electricity, and energy-efficient products and appliances
- Generating renewable energy
- Finding and starting community projects
- Energy-saving travel and transport
