Where you can park with a Charity Business parking permit

A Charity Business parking permit allows you to park in permit holder only bays and shared use bays within any Residential Parking Zone and Industrial Parking Zone in Newham.

Check the road signs to ensure the vehicle is parked in the correct location.
The parking zone restricted hours are displayed on the entry signs at the start of a zone.

Any vehicle breaching a parking or driving rule or parked without a valid permit, may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and possibly be towed.

A Charity Business parking permit does not exempt you from:

  • moving traffic rules
  • entering Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN) restricted roads.
     

If the charity address is on a Healthy School Street (HSS)

If you have a valid Charity Business parking permit registered to an address within a Healthy School Street (HSS) zone, your vehicle will automatically be permitted access during restricted hours.

Access is ONLY valid for the Healthy School Street (HSS) where your Charity's address is located.

If the charity address is near to Browning Road Bridge

If you have a valid Charity Business parking permit, registered to an address on the approved list, your vehicle will automatically be granted access drive over Browning Road Bridge in the southbound direction only.
